North Grendon Barns was a wonderful restoration opportunity. This set of four derelict barns gave us the opportunity to become an early adopter of innovative technologies including air source, underfloor heating, heat recovery and solar PV. It also allowed us to explore “fabric first” ideas about fuel efficiency.
Looking like a film set for a Second World War film, a barn set in Rackernford was a dramatic canvas on which for Magus to hone its skills. From the ground up, this would be a challenge.
